Due to concerns about the coronavirus and in an effort to reduce interactions between truck drivers and roadability mechanics, Washington United Terminals is making the following temporary changes:

• Truck drivers should keep the second gate pass.
• They can show it to the mechanic, but the mechanic will not take the ticket.
• The mechanic will record the driver’s initials and the gate pass number.
• There will be a secondary reefer set temp check performed by a mechanic other than the mechanic who initially set it.
• This will be in effect until the end of this month. It is likely to be extended if coronavirus concerns are still active.
