Seattle area construction look ahead
The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- March 14: Roosevelt Way NE Paving and Safety Improvements project begins.
- March 14 - 24: Stewart St. reduced to two lanes between Minor Ave. and Boren Ave. during underground vault installation.
- March 18 - 19: 2nd Ave. fully closed between Pike St. and Union St. during a large concrete mat pour.
- March 19: Grand Opening of Sound Transit's U-Link's Capitol Hill and Husky Stadium stations.
- March 19: Sounders host the Vancouver White Caps at 7PM at CenturyLink Field.
- March 20: 4th Ave. closed between Pine St. and Olive Wy.
- March 26: Metro Service Change begins. Changes will impact routes in Northeast and South Seattle, as well as Capitol Hill.
