The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• Feb. 12 - 16: Howell Street reduced to one lane between 9th and Boren avenues from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. during sewer line work.
• Feb. 17 & 18: 2nd Avenue closed between Virginia and Union streets during crane work.
• Feb. 23 - 24: Large concrete mat pours will close downtown streets near 3rd & Lenora and 7th & Blanchard.
• Feb. 23 - 26: Northbound I-5 exit to Madison Street closed during replacement of expansion joints.
• March 1 - 4: Emerald City Comic Con at the Washington State Convention Center.
• March 4: Hot Chocolate 15K & 5K Run will close streets in South Lake Union, Downtown, and on Aurora Avenue N. Sunday morning.
• March 4: Seattle Sounders host the Los Angeles Football Club at 2 p.m. at CenturyLink Field.
