Seattle area construction look ahead

The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

  • November 15: PSE begins natural gas line relocation on Alaskan Wy. between Pike St. and Madison St.
  • November 20 - 23: SR520 closed in both directions between I-5 and Bellevue.  Westbound traffic will reopen at 11AM on Sunday.
  • November 21: 23rd Ave. & E. Cherry intersection closed.
  • November 22: Seattle Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers at 1:25PM at CenturyLink Field.
  • November 27: UW Huskies host the WSU Cougars in the Apple Cup at 12:30PM at Husky Stadium.
  • November 27: My Macy's Holiday Parade, Annual Tree Lighting, and My Macy's Star Lighting and Fireworks in Downtown.
  • November 29: Seattle Marathon starts and finishes at the Seattle Center, using streets in South Lake Union, Downtown, South Seattle, Madison Park, Montlake, and Eastlake.
