Seattle area construction look ahead
The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.
This week's highlights:
- Jan. 3 - 6: Full closure of the 35th Ave SW & SW Alaska St. intersection. Fri 9 a.m. - Mon 5 a.m.
- Jan. 4 - 20: Ferry schedule changes at Colman Dock. All sailings will share Slip 1 for 2 weeks.
- Jan. 4 - March 15: Connect 2020 Sound Transit project continues with service reductions and 3 weekend closures; Jan. 4-5, Feb. 8-9 & March 14-15.
- Jan. 4 - 5: No Link service between SODO and Capitol Hill, free shuttle buses will connect the six closed stations.
- Jan. 6 - 9, 11 & 13 - 16: Lane reductions over the Aurora Bridge and Fremont Way N on-ramp closed. Nightly 9 p.m. - 6 a.m.
- Jan. 6 - 9 & 13 - 16: WB SR 520 off-ramp closed to Montlake Blvd. Nightly 10 p.m.- 6 a.m.
- Jan. 11: Three right lanes closed on NB I-5 from the I-90 Interchange to S King St. 11 p.m. - 8 a.m.
- Jan. 17: Full closure of northbound SR 99 Tunnel for monthly maintenance. 10 p.m. - 8 a.m.
