The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights:

• Dec. 5, 2018 - Dec. 5, 2019: Terry Ave will be closed from Olive Way to Howell St. for one year, 24/7.
• Dec. 7: The annual Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition will close streets around Westlake Mall Friday evening, starting at 6 p.m.
• Dec. 7 - 10: S. Royal Brougham Way and E. Frontage Road S, including NB SR-99 on-ramp, closed for paving.
• Dec. 9: Jingle Bell Run will close streets in downtown Seattle Sunday morning.
• Dec. 10: Seattle Seahawks host the Minnesota Vikings for Monday Night Football at CenturyLink Field.Kickoff is at 5:15 p.m.
• Dec. 10: Rainier Ave S. HOV lanes at I-90 will close for 2 years.
• Dec. 23: Seattle Seahawks host the Kansas City Chiefs at CenturyLink Field, kick-off at 5:20 p.m.
