The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

• October 26: Burke-Gilman Trail between 15th Ave. NE and Rainier Vista closed for nine months.
• October 26: Lane restrictions begin on 5th Ave. between Terrace St. and S. Washington St.
• October 31: Full closure of 5th Ave. between Madison St. and Marion St. for large concrete mat pour.
• October 31 & November 1: SR99 Viaduct closed for semi-annual inspection.
• October 31: Washington Huskies host the Arizona Wildcats at Husky Stadium at 8PM.
• November 1: Seattle Sounders host a playoff match at CenturyLink Field. Kickoff TBD.
• November 7: Full closure of 1st Ave. between Spring St. and Madison St.
• November 7 - 8: Full closure of Western Ave. and Madison St. intersection.
