Seattle area construction look ahead

The Seattle Department of Transportation's weekly transportation construction update highlights the projects and events that may impact travel through the Seattle area. View this week's update.

This week's highlights: 

  • April 1 - 3: SR520 closed between Montlake and Bellevue for Grand Opening events.
  • April 1 - 4: Stewart Ave. reduced to one lane between Minor Ave. and Terry Ave.
  • April 2: Go Long SR520 fun run will close Montlake Blvd. Saturday morning.
  • April 2: Seattle Sounders host the Montreal Impact at 7PM at CenturyLink Field.
  • April 3: Emerald City Bike Ride will start and finish at Husky Stadium.
  • April 4 - 7: Northbound SR99 closed nightly between Western Ave. and Valley St. during electrical work.
  • April 8: Seattle Mariners host the Oakland A's on Opening Day of the 2016 season.
  • April 8 - 11: SR520 closed between Montlake and Bellevue to begin traffic switch to new bridge.
